Special Projects Division

The Special Projects Division is responsible for bringing down high-quality non-sponsor events to the Finance Society. We are the creative spark of the society, bringing down events which we feel students can benefit and are not currently being organized.

The Special Projects division consists of 6 teams.

The Hedge Funds team is largely responsible for bringing down hedge funds to improve students’ understanding of hedge funds. The Financial Law team is responsible for bringing down law firms specializing in corporate law to speak about the synergy between law and finance. The Alternative Investments team is responsible for bringing down Private Equity and also Asset Management firms to tell us more about their exciting lives. The Financial Skills team is responsible for bringing down professional firms who focus on helping students with internship application and also firms who give professional training in M&A amongst many others. The Social Events team is responsible for bringing down events to enhance interaction amongst members and to make society events more exciting for members. The Premium Speakers team is responsible for bringing down renowned speakers to share with us their immense knowledge about the world economy or ground-breaking ideas that would change the world.
