The LSE SU Finance Society is the largest and most active society in LSE. With an active membership base of over 3000, sponsored by 23 industry giants including Investment Banking, Professional Services and the Legal sector, we are the most professional and established student organization on campus.
We hold in excess of 100 events every year, including finance seminars, trade simulations, case studies, résumé and interview workshops with recruiters, exclusive networking opportunities, company presentations and our highly successful Finance Explained series. Major global institutions sponsor the Finance Society, allowing us to
deliver high-quality events and exclusive career information to
our members.
About Us
The LSE SU Finance Society is the largest career-orientated society at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and one of the largest in Europe. Our strong on-and-off campus reputation is based upon our professionalism, education, innovation and creativity. We position ourselves as a professional student body group that acts as a bridge between our sponsors and members to facilitate the mutual exchange of ideas, knowledge and careers information between the two.
Events
We held more than 100 exciting year-round events to cater to the different needs of our sponsors and interests of our members. Including corporate presentations, lecture series, seminars, panels, M&A case study competition, business games, trading simulations, CV, cover letter sessions, mock interviews and networking dinners and receptions. In addition to career-orientated events, we also provide a forum for balanced discussions and dialogue about financial and economic issues relevant today. Such issues include but are not limited to public finance, the hedge fund industry, financial laws environmental finance and microfinance.

The Analyst
The Analyst is LSE’s first student-run financial publication and is produced by the LSE Finance Society Research Division.
Our mission is to offer new perspectives on financial news and theory to our readers through a highly collaborative environment. We aim to provide students a platform to share their views and knowledge of the financial industry, and promote the spirit of active learning through sharing.
